February 28, 2011, LPA AGENDA
The Brevard County Local Planning Agency (LPA) will meet on Monday, February 28, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., in the Commission Room, 1st Floor, Building C, Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida. In public hearing, the LPA will consider the following for recommendations to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners.
1. An ordinance amending Article III, Chapter 62, entitled “The Comprehensive Plan”; a remedial ordinance to Plan Amendment 2009-2.1 Ear-Based Amendments Ordinance 09-36; as part of a stipulated settlement agreement with the Department of Community Affairs.
2. An ordinance amending Article III, Chapter 62, entitled “The Comprehensive Plan”; a remedial ordinance to Plan Amendment 10-1, Ordinance 10-14; as part of a stipulated settlement agreement with the Department of Community Affairs.
3. An ordinance amending Chapter 62, Article X, Division 4, Code of Ordinances of Brevard County, Florida, relating to Wetland Protection.
Parties interested in the items above may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed items. Copies will also be available for public review at the Planning and Zoning Office in Building A, Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida. If a person desires to appeal any decision made by this board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, such a person will need a record of the proceeding andthat, for such purposes, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, at his/her expense, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which any such appeal is to be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact the Planning & Development Department no later than 48 hours prior to meeting at 633-2069 for assistance. Assisted listening system receivers are available for the hearing impaired, and can be obtained from the sound technician at the meeting.
