Curbside Garbage Collection

Residents of Unincorporated Brevard County have curbside collection three days per week. Garbage is collected twice per week and yard waste and recycling are collected one day.

Collection Tips
Place garbage cans, yard waste and recycling bins within 5 feet of the curb the night before your collection day or by 6:00 a.m.
Residential collection begins at 6:00 a.m.

SPECIAL COLLECTION Solid Waste is any type of solid waste not reasonably capable of being place in a garbage receptacle or being reduced in size not exceeding 4 feet in length, 24 inches in diameter and 50# in weight.

EXAMPLES include: any tangible item such
as furniture, appliances, bicycles and other bulk items (excluding, motor vehicles, derelict vessels
and their parts, except up to four tires will be picked up).
