The owners of this house have eight rain barrels! When all of them are full, they have 440 gallons of clean, fresh water for their landscape and garden. GREEN INDUSTRIES BMP CLASS *NEW CLASS JUST ANNOUNCED: FEBRUARY 2, 2012* REGISTER: http://bce-commercialhort.eventbrite.com/ The Green Industries Best Management Practices (BMPs) are designed to preserve and protect Florida's water resources. Certification will become mandatory by 2014 for anyone applying commercial fertilizers to urban landscapes. To become certified, you must attend the entire training and complete the pre and post test (you must pass the post test). Once you meet the requirements, you will receive a cretificate and be placed on the list of BMP certified professionals at the University of Florida . WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
REGISTER NOW FOR THE FEBRUARY 2, 2012 CLASS. BMP Certification will be held at the Brevard County Extension - 3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa Florida.
