Construction on the Maintenance, Soccer, and Football buildings is on schedule and are ready for trusses to be installed and construction is at 60% complete. Soccer and football field development and irrigation is 80% complete. Community Center construction is at 60% and roofing in progress. Completion of construction for the community center, maintenance, soccer, and football buildings anticipated for late October 2010.
FPL transformers and conductor installment is in progress. Road grading and base rock placement completed for softball and baseball complexes. Site work permitting and clearing are complete. Retention ponds, infrastructure, and storm utilities are complete.
Drilling of wells installing & testing is complete.
Bids to begin construction of baseball and softball complexes, basketball courts, pavilions, and playgrounds status is in process. Bid award and notice to proceed with construction pending approval of constructor’s qualifications. Building permits are ready for issuance upon contract award.
Permits for the Flanagan Avenue improvements, storm water, and traffic signal at Minton Road are under review pending comments. Revised cost estimates have been received, and Parks Staff is preparing finalized bid packages for public advertizing. |
