Park Status Report

Construction of marine work and dredging, boat ramps, loading docks, floating dock and staging docks are complete.

Upland construction that includes site improvements and site restoration, paving, parking (50 trailer parking and 12 vehicle parking) has commenced and is at 80% complete. 

The contaminated soil found on the north side of the boat ramps has been completely removed. Turn lane on U.S. 1 is in process. Parking and entrance way rough grading and base rock installment has been completed and paving has commenced. Paving anticipated to be completed within the next month.

The restroom interior tiling has been completed and the restroom building is 85% through completion.

On May 6, 2008, the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners approved the naming of referendum-acquired property, previously referred to as the South County Boat Launch Facility, to Christenson's Landing.
