Currently, some Active status contractors are not visible via Brevard County Licensed Contractor Search, during the initial 2011-2012 renewal period (August 1, 2011-September 30, 2011).  We apologize for any inconvenience.

"Brevard County Licensed Contractor Search" does not include STATE CERTIFIED CONTRACTORS.  Current information may be obtained from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (850) 487-1395 or www.myfloridalicense.com.

If your search resulted in "NO RECORDS MEET SEARCH CRITERIA - PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE AT (321) 633-2058", the contractor may hold an ACTIVE LICENSE; however, the record may have a deficiency.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING

BREVARD COUNTY CONTRACTORS’ LICENSING BOARD

The Contractors' Licensing Board will meet at the Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, 2nd Floor, Space Coast Room, Viera, Florida, on the following dates at 6:30 pm:

If a person desires to appeal any decision made by this board, agency or commission (as appropriate) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, such a person will need a record of this proceeding and that, for such purposes, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of this proceeding is made, at his/her own expense, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which any such appeal is to be based. The needs of the hearing and/or visually impaired persons shall be met if the department sponsoring the meeting/hearing is presented with such a request and contacts the ADA Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to the public meeting/hearing at 637-5347.

The purpose of the Licensing Regulation and Enforcement office is to ensure that construction activities are performed by fully qualified and licensed contractors to provide quality construction within the county.

The Brevard County Contractor Licensing and Regulations Section is responsible for the county licensing of specific trades: drywall, plumbing, electric, HVAC, roofing, etc. If you have questions concerning the licensing requirements or applying for a Brevard County contractors license, please contact our office.
