• Established in 1991, the BRAVE (Brevardians Responding As VoluntEers) Volunteer and Intern Program serves as an avenue for citizens to participate in Board of County Commissioners departments.  

• Volunteers and interns share their energy, skills and talents through their involvement in most County departments and offices to make Brevard County a better place to live.

• Our volunteers represent the diversity of Brevard County.  They come from all walks of life and all age groups.

• What kind of people volunteer?  All kinds!  Volunteering is a great way to stay active, make contacts and keep skills current.
