Volunteer Appreciation & Learning Garden

The Brevard County Volunteer Management Team developed the Volunteer Appreciation and Learning Garden to say “Thank You!” to our wonderful volunteers. The garden design offers volunteers and the public a centrally located peaceful place to get away, take a stroll, relax on a bench, and observe native plants and wildlife. The garden gives back to the community through education on successful landscaping. The garden provides a living example of some of the many wonderful trees, shrubs, grasses and flowers that can create a low maintenance and environmentally friendly yard.

Funding for the garden's trees was provided by the USDA Forest Service through the
Florida Division of Forestry’s Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program.
