Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands at Viera - Volunteers

Numerous volunteer opportunities exist at the wetlands, including organizing periodic bird surveys, updating the entrance kiosk with recent sightings and current events, maintaining a visitor’s log-book, leading field-trips for visiting students, providing evening tours, and organizing the annual Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands Festival in May.
Other opportunities include assisting in invasive vegetation maintenance activities and maintaing the garden surrounding the lakeside gazebo.
If you are interested in any of these volunteer opportunities at the wetlands--including any ideas of your own-- please contact Raleigh Berry at Raleigh.Berry@BrevardCounty.US or call (321) 633-2016 x52423.
If you're already a volunteer, here's the link to record your volunteer hours.
