Building Code issues building permits for the unincorporated areas of Brevard County. Properties located within the limits of the municipalities, owned by the Federal Government, or the School Board are not within the permitting jurisdiction of this office.

The 2010 Florida Buiding Code is now in effect. The new code can be viewed online at www.floridabuilding.org .
The Board of County Commissioners extended the moratorium on the collection of Transportation Impact Fees. See the link below for details.
