Protection Issues for Wildfires

• Provide roadway into property that will support firefighting equipment
• Maintain defensive areas around house with at least 100 feet cleared from house to dense vegetation
• Keep flammable materials away from house
• Clean roof and gutters of leaves and pine needles
• Have a plan for pets and large domestic animals
