CITY OF SATELLITE BEACHThe City of Satellite Beach is a primary PSAP, located at 510 Cinnamon Drive. Point of contact is Mollie Hodge at (321)773-4400. The staff consists of two (2) Telecommunication positions with four (4) wirelines and three (3) wireless dedicated 9-1-1 incoming trunks. Total staffing consists of eight (8) full time staff including supervisors. The staff uses the Positron "Lifeline" terminal equipment together with two 30-button IAP Plus Workstations. A 16-channel digital logging recorder is used for recording the 9-1-1 incoming calls and instant playback recorders are available at each position. Spectracomm Netclock equipment is installed to provide for master timing of 911 hardware. The city handled a total of 1,964 emergency calls in the last fiscal year.
